Keiser University MS Psychology 12th Cohort Opening Ceremony Held Online
On August 20th, 2022, the opening ceremony for the 12th cohort of Keiser University M.S. in Psychology (Mandarin) Program was held. The ceremony took an online format under the lasting impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Around 40 registered new students and potential applicants participated in the online event. They were joined by distinguished guests, the Vice-chancellor of Graduate School - Dr. Robert Keiser, the Vice-chancellor of Academic Affairs - Ms. Terry Reid-Paul, and the Associate Vice-chancellor of International Affairs – Dr. Yan Luo-Beitler.
The ceremony was jointly organized by the program China Partner - AIEI and the program Shenzhen Teaching Center. Students hail from nine different cities, including Shenzhen, Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Foshan, Nantong, Shanghai, etc.
Dr. Robert Keiser spoke highly of AIEI’s successful provision of the MSPSY program in China and welcomed all students to join the big Keiser family.
The Chairman of AIEI and Director of Keiser’s MSPSY and MBA programs in China, Professor Henry Hui also gave a warm welcome to all new students, saying: “In today’s fast-growing world, lifelong learning has become indispensable. Study means keeping up with the times and personal growth.”
The ceremony also included other guest speeches, an introduction of students, orientation, and oath-taking.
The event culminated in the Seahawk dance, a traditional way for Keiser University students to celebrate their identity. Students are surrounded by cheers and applauses from the audience, as they prepare to soar in the sky that leads them ultimately to the sunshiny beaches of Florida.
