EMBA Graduation Tour of Franklin University in Switzerland: Practice in the Global Economy and Enrich the Development of the World

The 2023 graduation ceremony of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) was held in Switzerland. Students from Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Dongguan, and other cities in China visited their alma mater for the first time and arrived in the beautiful city of Lugano, where the university held a grand welcome ceremony. 

The graduation trip took place from May 25th to May 27th in the city of Lugano. The graduation ceremony included various activities such as a welcome ceremony, campus visits, business inspections, lectures, celebration dinners, and more, allowing students to leave behind unforgettable memories of their graduation journey.

Kim Hildebrant, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Franklin University Switzerland, and Samuel Martin-Barbero, the President, personally welcomed the Chinese graduates and the delegation from the China Management Center. Chairman of the Lugano City Council, Gian Maria Bianchetti, Chairman of the Board of Franklin University Switzerland, Kim Hildebrant, and the president of the FUS EMBA China Management Center, Professor Hui, attended the seminar as guests and delivered speeches.

The Honorary Chairman of Ticino Chapter of Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Professor Claudio Boër, delivered a keynote speech on 'Sustainable Manufacturing'.

Mr. Alberto Stival, Director of Sustainable Finance Education and Development Bureau in Switzerland, delivered a keynote speech on 'Sustainable Finance'.

Three representatives from the 2023 cohort of the EMBA program at Franklin University Switzerland also took the stage to present their projects.

On May 27th, the graduation ceremony for the 2023 cohort of the EMBA program at Franklin University Switzerland was held. This ceremony aimed to recognize and commend students' two years of learning in the EMBA program, while also providing a solemn and grand stage for the graduates. At this unprecedented feast, some influential guests delivered speeches, making the graduation ceremony more solemn and grand, and making the students feel more honored and proud.

Mr. Wang ShiTing, the Ambassador of China to Switzerland, was invited to attend and deliver a speech. In his speech, Ambassador Wang comprehensively introduced the main features of Chinese-style modernization and its important significance for global development. He emphasized that China will unswervingly promote reform and opening up, and more actively promote high-level opening up, sharing the achievements and opportunities of Chinese-style modernization with countries around the world, including Switzerland, injecting new vitality into world economic growth.

Finally, Ambassador Wang encouraged the graduates to make full use of what they have learned, and make their own contributions to promoting practical cooperation and mutual benefit between China and Switzerland, enhancing the well-being and friendly exchanges between the two peoples.

Professor Hui, president of EMBA Program China Management Center, also warmly advised the students to apply the practical skills learned from the EMBA program in real life, and step towards new heights in their careers. He also urged them to always cherish the guidance of life and the magic of fate, and to never forget the expectations and teachings of their alma mater and teachers. He wished them to continue to reap the rewards of this learning journey and achieve their goals.

At the end of the ceremony, Ms. Joan, CEO of AIEI and COO of the EMBA program of Franklin University Switzerland's China Management Center, invited each graduate to come forward and receive their diploma on stage. The students received their certificates in a solemn ceremony, filled with excitement and cheers. They understood that all the hard work and dedication they had put in had finally been recognized and acknowledged at this moment.

Finally, the China Management Center of the EMBA program of Franklin University Switzerland presented a gift to the graduates. A short video review of their two-year learning journey was shown during the ceremony, highlighting each graduate's unique story as the main character of their own tale.
