2023 Graduation Ceremony successfully held at HEC Liège Business School !

On October 26, 2023, the graduation ceremony of class 2023 of HEC Liège, University of Liège, was grandly held at the new campus of HEC Liège Business School. 

Professor Albert Corhay, the 69th Rector of the University of Liège, Professor Pierre Dubois, Vice-Rector of the University of Liège, Professor Wilfried Niessen, General Director and Dean of HEC Liège Business School, Professor Laurent Desautels, Vice-Dean of Research, Professor Henry Hui, president of AIEI (Abundance International Education Institute), also known as HEC Liege Executive Education China Management Center, and Ms. Joan, CEO of AIEI, Dr. William, Scientific Collaborator of the University of Liège, Ms. Sylvie-Anne Piette, Director of Executive Education at HEC Liège Business School, and the professors of HEC Liège Business School attended the ceremony, witnessing this shining moment for the graduates.

As expressed by Professor Wilfried Niessen (picture below): “Today, you have reached the end of a journey and the beginning of another chapter.”

He also added that: “the courses you have taken at HEC Liège have not only provided you with new knowledge but also allowed you to make new friends and expand your professional network, which is crucial for your future. We have students here today from different cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Wuxi, Tianjin, Suzhou, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenyang, Ningbo, and many more”. 

“This diverse network of alumni is precious, and I encourage you to cherish the connections you have made. You are not only part of your class network but also part of the HEC Liège Business School and University of Liège alumni network, with alumni from all over the world. Utilize this network to build a multicultural and international web of relationships”.

Professor Henry Hui (picture above) also extended his best wishes to the students:

"Today is the graduates' stage, as I mentioned during the welcome ceremony, it is a high-value and glorious moment in each individual's life journey. When your names are announced on the honor roll, it is like a song and a poem. Enjoy it to the fullest.”

“Just as life itself is a rhythm of every present moment, let passion and enthusiasm guide us according to the dictates of life. The magic of fate keeps us always mindful of the expectations and teachings of our alma mater and mentors, ensuring the abundance and fulfillment of this learning journey.”

After the graduation ceremony, a grand banquet was prepared by HEC Liège Business School for the students. The banquet was filled with joy and laughter as the attendees raised their glasses and enjoyed the evening together.
