Building Bridges Award 2023, jointly received by AIEI and HEC Liège

Against the backdrop of comprehensive and deepening reforms and active expansion of opening-up, AIEI has been actively involved in the development, research, and introduction of high-quality international education programs for over 20 years. Starting from 2001, it has successfully introduced executive education programs from renowned universities in Canada, France, Belgium, the United States, Luxembourg, Finland, Switzerland, Russia, and other European and American countries to China. By aligning top-notch European and American business education resources with domestic business elites, it has built a bridge primarily based on education for communication and cooperation between China and foreign countries.

HEC Liège, University of Liège in Belgium, introduced and brought by AIEI to China since 2011, has achieved remarkable accomplishments over the past twelve years.

In 2015, under the leadership of AIEI, the University of Liègeinitiated a collaborative project with Shenzhen University. The signing ceremony of this project was witnessed by Queen Mathilde of Belgium herself.Over the past decade, thousands of Chinese students have successfully enrolled in Chinese executive programs, becoming the most influential participants and witnesses in Sino-Belgian educational and economic development cooperation.

At the "Bridging Bridge, Building Dreams for the Future" Sino-Belgian cooperative exchange and seminar banquet held this month, the Sino-Belgian Cooperation Annual Award was jointly presented by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in China, the Consulate General in Guangzhou, the Consulate General in Shanghai, and the Consulate General in Hong Kong.AIEI and HEC Liège jointly received this honor, aiming to recognize their outstanding contributions to promoting Sino-Belgian educational development, and to encourage further breakthroughs in cultural exchanges between China and Belgium.

Over the past 20 years, AIEI has engaged in extensive international education cooperation, closely interacting with multiple developed countries. Through international executive education programs, it has successfully helped numerous students access Western education, achieve self-improvement, enhance their international perspectives, and boost their career development. These students have become a strong force in promoting Sino-foreign economic cooperation and exchanges.Aiming at lifelong learners worldwide, this endeavor enhances confidence in Chinese culture, promotes international image, and also introduces Western advanced concepts into the country, fully blending and igniting new vitality. By promoting economic and cultural exchanges through educational cooperation, we can jointly build a better future based on the concept of a global community with a shared future, embracing peace and win-win cooperation.
