The 2023 EMAM and EDBA Opening Ceremony of HEC Liège: A Successful Triumph

August 23 marked the triumphant conclusion of the grand inauguration ceremony for HEC Liège's EMAM and EDBA programs, held as planned within the distinguished premises of the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce.

Distinguished attendees included the Consul General of Belgium in Guangzhou, the Consul for Trade and Technology of Belgium in Guangzhou, and the esteemed Dean of HEC Liège - all gracing this event in person. Their presence united renowned scholars, seasoned experts, university professors, and dedicated doctoral supervisors. Joining them were key figures from the China Management Center and various teaching centers affiliated with HEC Liège's Executive Education Programs.

During the ceremony, Mr. Wim Peeters, Consul General of Belgium in Guangzhou, extended heartfelt blessings to the aspiring business students of HEC Liège. Echoing the sentiment, Mr. Didier Denayer, Consul of Trade and Technology and an HEC alumnus, emphasized the privilege and pride of engaging in HEC's activities. He hailed the Executive Education Programs in China as a harmonious intersection of academic brilliance and entrepreneurial prowess, bridging Belgium and China.

An especially significant guest, Professor Wilfried Niessen, Dean and Director General of HEC Liège, made a notable appearance after three years, underlining the occasion's importance. 

Professor Henry Hui, President of the China Management Center of HEC Liège's Executive Education Programs, delivered an empowering message: "Learning remains the finest self-investment, a source of unparalleled growth. And to undergo this journey at HEC Liège, a century-old bastion of business education, is a source of tremendous pride." 

The stage witnessed illuminating speeches from distinguished guests and the voices of new student representatives.

Marking HEC Liège's paramount event in China this year, the opening ceremony of the EMBA and EDBA Shenzhen 2023 programs launches an essential chapter. It heralds the commencement of a transformative journey for new students, paving the way for a lifetime of learning and growth.
